The Munches Room

The Munches Room is named after Munches House, a large Neo-Classical Robert Adam house built by the Maxwells as a the new main house on the Estate following the Battle of Culloden. Unfortunately, that house burnt down and was replaced, but we have decorated this charming B&B room in the style of the old Munches House, with Robert Adam plasterwork, wallpaper, and fittings.

The Munches Room in situated on the east range of the Castle Courtyard with a dedicated entrance. It's en-suite, with a king size bed, and a beautiful marble floored bathroom and shower. Other amenities include in-room premium tea & coffee making facilities (Fortnum & Mason tea and Nespresso Vertuo coffee). Fresh milk is provided upon request.
